#LipQuickie NUDESTIX Lip + Cheek Pencil in Whisper Review & Swatches

I recently picked up and reviewed the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip set and today I want to share a quick review of the NUDESTIX Lip + Cheek Pencil in Whisper. This is the item that I like the most from the set, and I was very excited to try it out.

You can find my post for the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip set HERE, but just a quick run through of this set: it's $28 and you get two full sized items and three deluxe sample sizes. The NUDESTIX Lip + Cheek Pencil is one of the full sized items and retails for $24 alone. If you like this pencil, that makes the set a great deal that you need to pick up before they sell out, because it will sell out.

The NUDESTIX Lip + Cheek Pencil in Whisper is a very creamy consistency, it swatched so soft and fully pigmented. When I opened up this tube, I immediately loved the color and hoped that it wouldn't be too nude.

In the arm swatch you will notice that it's a little bit browner (indoor light) and that's because in my photos I am in front of the window, which always washes color out some. The shade itself is very nude and is lighter than my natural lips and is so pigmented it completely covered my natural color. I like the shade a lot though and was relieved that it didn't completely wash me out. For my day-to-day use and just to make it more wearable, I will add a darker-mauvy shade on the edges just to give make it a smidge darker. But the shade is GORGEOUS and I think will appeal to all nude lippie lovers.

NUDESTIX Lip + Cheek Pencil are a multi-purpose pencils that you can wear on both lips and cheeks but I didn't try this on my cheeks. I don't think this color lends itself for blush on my skin tone.

Overall the NUDESTIX Lip + Cheek Pencil in Whisper has made my investment of the Give Me Some Nude Lip Set worth it. And that is why I really enjoy Sephora Favorites collection sets. They let you try out a variety of products that you probably wouldn't buy on your own because they can be pretty pricey.

I have been curious to try NUDESTIX for a few months now, and after trying this pencil I know I want to try more. I am really curious to try the shadow pencils too, as I am always looking for easy ways to do my face.

Overall, this NUDESTIX is a big hit for me. I can't wait to get another opportunity to try another NUDESTIX product and will of course let you know when I do. I hope you enjoyed this #LipQuicke!
