My Recent Ulta Haul #UltaHaul

Today I received my most recent Ulta order and since I had some time, I actually got some photos. I do share all of my hauls on Instagram and I am going to make more of an effort to get them up here for you. I personally love hauls, they are the best way to find out about new products and sometimes even if you haven't gone shopping you can live vicariously through other peoples hauls. It's not the same as shopping for yourself, but it's still fun!

I placed this order last weekend while Ulta had the Real Techniques BOGO FREE sale. That was actually the reason for my order, but since you have to hit $50 for free shipping I had to keep going. I hate that $50 threshold to hit free shipping and always try to wait until they do $25, but they haven't done that in a while. This is where Sephora kicks Ultas butt by offering their 2-day shipping service. Sephora's Flash service only $10 per year and such a lifesaver and worth every single penny.

My order:
Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (free with purchase of palette)
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
Real Techiniques Complexion Sponge (free with purchase of brush)
NYX Lip Pencil in Mauve

The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette is cute, the little girl in me loves it. But I didn't get it for that at all since really the packing is too young for me and I really don't like those pink shades at all. I got it to complete my Chocolate Bar collection BUT one of my resolutions for the year is to no longer buy products that I won't use. A lot of times we spend: $10 here, $20 there, $50 over there, on things we don't end up using and it adds up to a lot of money down the drain. That is not something I want to keep doing. My collection has to be a wearable collection full of only items that I really enjoy.

It's super adorable though and looks super cute on my display case. Never mind that I am almost 100 and should probably not be buying anything pink, but whatever. I NEVER used to buy anything in pink or gold but lately there is a lot of that in my world. It's about esthetics really and pink and gold look great in photos and at the end of the day my entire makeup area is very fun to look at. And I love it and I don't care what the haters have to say. You do you and eff everyone else. (talk about getting off subject!)

I hope that I end up being happy with this palette because that means that I will have all three of the chocolate bar palettes. And now they have that peach one on the way! Dios mio, it never ends.

The next item is very exciting because this is my very first Real Techniques brush! Is that crazy or what? I hear about Real Techniques all the time and I have always wanted to try a few but never get around to it. I so badly wanted to order a few more items to really take advantage of this sale but knowing that my #MorpheMe order was coming AND that I have a new set of Sonia Kashuks (from the fall collection), there was no way I could order more. I only got this one to at least get one freebie and I have heard so much about the Expert Face Brush. I am def trying this out tomorrow.

The Real Techniques Complexion Brush is for Cici. Right now she is on her second one and will be needing another soon, and free is always awesome. I personally haven't used this sponge to give you a review but I know that she loves it and says she feels no need to try the Beauty Blender.

Another freebie is this Too Faced Better Than Sex deluxe sample size mascara. This is my 2nd favorite mascara, or maybe it's my favorite. I already have another brand new full sized one and a deluxe sample so I MIGHT give this to Cici just so she can try it.  Or maybe I won't.

The complexion brush was $9.99 and you have to spend $10 to use the $3.50 off coupon so I added this NYX Lip Liner in Mauve. Cici has two of this pencil and I want to try it out to see what all the love is about. Plus you have to use that coupon, even if it means adding something, because in the end that item is basically free. I never place an Ulta order without using either the $3.50 off $10 or $5 off $15 coupon, never. Use the coupons and stack whenever possible, it's about getting a bang for our buck and stretching that money so we can buy more stuff!

And that concludes my most recent #UltaHaul. I am excited for the palette and the brush. I feel like I got a good deal on this order because I got two freebies plus $3.50 off. Not a bad deal, especially since I had to dish out so much for the Too Faced Bon Bons Palette ($49).

I hope you enjoyed my haul. I'd love to know if you have these products or plan on buying them.  Look for a full review of the Bon Bons palette in a few days and until then enjoy your weekend!
