Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip Kit

One of my favorite sets to purchase from Sephora are the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip kits. While they have favorites kits for everything from mascara to fragrance, the lip kits are the ones that interest me the most. The Sephora Favorites Kits are a great opportunity to try out a variety of products for less. So far I have purchased three of the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip kits including this one and I have to say this might be my favorite. If it's not my favorite then it's definitely a tie with the Give Me So Nude Lip Kit which I fully reviewed here

This newest Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip kit is $28 and features two full sized items and four deluxe sized products. I was excited to see the full-sized Always On Matte Smashbox Liquid Lipstick in the set because it's one that I've had my eye on. I was also excited to add another Lancôme Juicy Shaker to my collection and since the total value of those two products alone is $45 and the set only $28, well then it was a no brainer.

Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip Kit

As of the moment that I am writing this post the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip Kit is in stock.

The first product is the Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick which retails for $24 in the shade Stepping Out. Stepping Out is described as a Deep Nude and I can tell you that it's a gorgeous brown nude shade with a really great formula. It goes on super even, no streakiness at all and it's fully pigmented. As a fan of brown nudes, I love this liquid lippe and definitely want to try more from this range. And I think this is the pick of the bunch, the best product of the kit for sure.

The next product is a deluxe size of the Kat Von D Studded Lipstick in the shade Lovecraft. I'm ashamed to say that I do own two of these full-sized lippies (in other shades) but they're still new. They're just SO pretty that I haven't had the heart to mess them up. But I did swatch this little lippie for you below and it's a beautiful mauve pink nude with a really good formula. This shade applied with no streaks at all and it's super pretty. This is one I am adding to my wish list fo' sure.

The Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment is not my favorite, the formula is just too soft for the heat in area where I live and the tubes get ruined and messy on me each time. But they are a great product and if you have not yet tried them, this is a great way to do so. Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment are extremely moisturizing and leave your lips the feeling just so nourished and wonderful but the tubes are very soft so I don't suggest these for anybody that lives in a very warm climate.

The next deluxe sized product is the NARS Satin Lip Pencil in the shade Rikugien. I really like the shade of the pencil a lot, I'm not the biggest fan of the finish which is satin and almost glossy, but the shade itself is very pretty. I think I own three of these satin pencils so I personally wish they would include the matte ones in these kits instead. Still it's a NARS product and the full size is pretty pricey so it's still a really nice part of this kit.

On to my favorite lip product of life, the Too Faced Melted Liquified Longwear Lipstick deluxe sized tube of Melted Chihuahua. I already own a full sized tube of Melted Chihuahua along with about 8 other lippies from this range. I have also purchased many as gifts, they are my favorite. So it is without a doubt that I was very excited to see this product as part of the Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip Kit, even if it's in a shade that I already own because I can gift it to somebody else. These lipsticks go on with a satin finish but after about an hour they do dry down to a matte finish and they have major staying power. Plus they are fully pigmented, super comfortable on the lips, it almost feels as if you're wearing nothing. I never find that they dry my lips at all and they are just my favorite. So yeah, super thrilled that the Too Faced Melted Chihuahua is in this kit.

The last item is a full sized Lancôme Juicy Shaker in the shade Boom-Meriengue. I already own three Juicy Shakers and I can tell you that I absolutely adore them but I wish they would have picked out a different shade for this kit. Not only is the shade itself a very cool toned pink that's not wearable for most people, this particular shade has no pigmentation. If Lancôme was trying to introduce their juicy shakers to more people so they could buy them, this was not the shade to include in this kit. I personally would've picked out Piece Of Cake, which I own, and I think would've been more universally wearable plus it has a lot more pigment than this one. But alas, the people Lancôme didn't ask my opinion and included this very sheer shade. Of course you can still enjoy the wonderful formula, which is amazing,  you're just not going to be getting a lot of pigment out of it. I will try to have a post including the three other Lancôme Juicy Shakers I own soon because I do really love this product. Even though the shade is not my favorite, it's still pretty darn awesome that they included a full-size in this kit.

Overall I am really happy with the new Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip Kit. At $28 it's such a great value and you really are getting a big bang for your buck with this kit. It's not just a good value either, I love most of the products that they put in here especially the Smashbox and Lancôme which are both newer products that many people have been waiting to try out. This kit gives everybody the opportunity to try five different products for under $30 bucks. I will keep an eye on Sephora and I soon as I see that it re-stocks I will let everybody know via my social media channels and on this post.
