Wet n Wild Sequins & Stardust Holiday Collection #Holidays2016

I'm going to preface this post by letting you all know that finding this collection intact (including the gold bar) was a biotch and a half. For almost three whole weeks I visited my local Walgreens and Rite Aid stores, every other day. A few times I was out of my town and did stop in other stores, and this is where I found the first displays but without the gold bar. After weeks of looking, and tons of wasted gas I was about to give up when lo and behold, my closest Rite Aid had it one morning. I had just been in that store 24 hours earlier so it was lucky that I was picking up coffee at 7 Eleven again or I probably would have missed the gold bars once again. But thank goodness the display was brand spanking new and I picked up the entire collection with the exception of the lashes. So...after much hard work I now present you with the Wet n Wild Sequins & Stardust Holiday Collection which IS now available online. Whooot, whoot!

Wet n Wild Sequins & Stardust Holiday Collection

Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Gold Bar in Holly Gold-head. This was the entire reason for the season for me, in other words this is what I really wanted. And I told myself that I would buy nothing from this collection unless I got the Gold Bar. This beautiful highlighter is only $3.99 and it includes a mirror that slides out from the side. If you liked their summer highlighters, then you are going to love this one.

The next piece of the collection and one of my favorites has to be the four Megalast Nail Colors. As it is I am a big fan of Wet n Wild polishes, I have reviewed a lot of them here and I own a ton more. These holiday shades definitely didn't let me down, I think they are all stunning and even though I don't normally love shimmer in my polishes, I think they're super appropriate for the holidays. BTW, these polishes are only $1.99 each.

Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Color in R-U-Free-2 Dance? has to be my favorite polish from this collection. It's just SO pretty! It's probably really sheer or more of a topper but it's so stunning, it looks like it actually lit up and glowing.

Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Color in I Dream of Jean Genie. This is another really great shade, I love the shade plus the flecks of gold which are larger in this polish. I think this one is going to be super pretty on the nails and can't wait to try it.

Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Color in Studio Glitter & Gold is beautiful! I am normally not a fan of gold but I think I am going to really enjoy this one.

The last polish in the Wet n Wild Sequins & Stardust collection is Ninja Lovelace, another stunning shade and one of the most popular from what I see on social media.

Something unexpected that Wet n Wild gave us with this holiday collection are these loose pigments. When I first saw these I thought they were cute but didn't plan on picking them up because I've never worked with loose pigments. But since I found the display on sale I thought I would throw caution to the wind and when I shared them on IG, friends started telling me all kinds of ways you can use these pigments and now I can't wait to try them all.

I love the packaging on these adorable little tubs, especially the very easy to open sifter. I was expecting to have a big mess but the sifter is really good. Not bad for a product that cost only $2.99.

As you can see in this photo, three of the loose pigments are very nice, it's only Kung Fu Lighting that has really no shimmer and not a lot of pigment. Personally I love Ride On My Copper and Heart of Rose Gold the most.

The last piece (besides the lashes I didn't pick up) from the Wet n Wild Sequins & Stardust collection are the the Wet n Wild ColorIcon Glosses in: Boogie White Lights, The Loco-Potion, Ring My Bellbottoms and Moxie Brown.

Wet n Wild ColorIcon Prismatic Glosses in: Boogie White Lights, The Loco-Potion, Ring My Bellbottoms and Moxie Brown.

Normally I would skip the glosses but I really liked the ones from two collections ago and so I decided to grab these since they all have the most fun and sparkly finishes. I'm so glad I did! They are all surprisingly pigmented as well and I really like the gold detail on the lids, it's super festive. The only con I would say about these glosses is that they feel a little oily and not so glossy on the lips, but as someone who wears a lot of lip oils I rather enjoy that part. But if you don't like lip oils, you might not like how these feel.

I didn't even plan on swatching these as I thought they would be sheer, but just check out how pigmented and fun these finishes are. One of my girls called them "tacky", but I think they're super fun and will be great for topping of lipsticks this holiday season, or alone.

Just look at how glossy and sparkly each one is. I love them all. These Wet n Wild Prismatic Glosses are only $2.99 a pop and well worth it I think.

Overall I am really happy with the Wet n Wild Sequins & Stardust Holiday Collection. I think it's super fun, perfect for the holidays with all of the shimmer and shine and I love the addition of the loose pigment. It was really nice to see something different from them, know what I mean? The glosses are super cute and even though I was originally going to skip them, I am glad I didn't. Sure, I probably won't be wearing them much but I love that they are part of my collection and that if I should crave some glitter on the lips, I have exactly the thing. I also really like the super affordable Gold Bar. I mean $3.99 for such a good highlighter? That's insane. And yes, I have ordered a backup! What else? Oh, the polishes. I am already a HUGE fan of Wet n Wild Megalast polishes and though I haven't worn these yet, I LOVE them! They are GORG and I can not wait to wear each one.
