November Beauty Favorites

*Affiliate links used in post, all but one product were purchased by me.

Holy cow, it's December! I feel like November was a pretty good makeup month, it was really a month of discovery for me: I discovered some new stuff and I also discovered some items from my stash as well. It was also the month of the VIB Sale and nothing I got during the sale is in here because I need more time with the items before I can call any favorites. But I do think a few will be in next months faves. For now, let's get on to the good stuff, ok?

DERMA-e Hydrating Syrum: I received this from DERMA-E a few weeks ago and have consistently used it since that first day. Normally I will try every product that I am sent but it is not every product that I will continue to use religiously like this one. This syrum has a very wonderful scent, which is one of the reasons I enjoy applying it so much. But apart from being nicely scented and having such a great presentation, it's also a really good product. I love how nicely this sits under my foundation, doesn't let anything slide around and yet it's hydrating enough to help my dry skin. I also find that this works really well in conjunction with my moisturizer on those days that I need more hydration or that I will be wearing more matte and drying foundation. I look forward to trying out more of the DERMA-e line and can't wait to get to know their products better.

Lancôme La Vie est Belle Refillable Purse Spray: I've been wearing Lancôme La Vie est Belle for a few years now and when I saw this new presentation I had to order it. This box comes with 3 replaceable vials and a beautiful rose gold holder. The only difference I have noticed with this fragrance is that it doesn't have the same staying power as the one in my full-sized bottle, but it's still the same great fragrance that I have been enjoying for years. I'm 3/4 done with my current bottle so I definitely needed a new one and am really enjoying this to-go spray a lot.

In November I used three blushes non-stop, all in perfect fall/winter shades. Milani Blush in Romantic Rose, Lorac Color Source Buildable Blush in Cinematic and the Clinique Cheek Pop in Cola Pop. These blushes are amazing and I could seriously wear them all the time and never wish for more because the shades are just so great for every day. I also found a tool (already in my collection) which is perfect for applying blush without going too heavy handed. I tend to get very heavy handed when it comes to blush, which makes darker blushes dangerous for me. But this Real Techniques Blush Brush is so good at really buffing out blush and because it is so fluffy it doesn't sit down too much powder at one. Again this was another tool that has already been in my collection for a few months but I wasn't using it.

The Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstick in Rum Riche has been in my collection almost two years and until this November, it was new. Yep, you read that correctly. I am a loser who hoards beautiful lipsticks and doesn't ever wear them. And let me tell you what a loss, because this is one of the most beautiful lipstick that I have ever found anywhere. And to think that it's been in my collection for about two years is incredible, I know. Anyways, now that I have found this I've been using it nonstop and it's an integral part of my purse now.

Swatches: Milani Blush in Romantic Rose, Lorac Color Source Buildable Blush in Cinematic and the Clinique Cheek Pop in Cola Pop as well as the Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstick in Rum Riche.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer and Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer were my two go-to bronzers of November. I've had the Too Faced Soleil Bronzer deluxe size for a few years and this thing refuses to ever finish. For some reason, I tend to overlook it a lot but it really is a great bronzer for my skin tone and I really enjoy using it. Plus, it smells so good! As for the Benefit Hoola bronzer, well that is just BOMB and a product that is so worth the hype that surrounds it. I only got it a few months ago but promptly purchased two more for my girls because I liked it so much.

An early holiday gift from my boyfriend, my first ever Tom Ford makeup item! This is the Tom Ford Eyeshadow Quad in Nude Dip, and yes, it is as amazing as it looks. I did pick this out of course, I always pick out my gifts from him and I chose this because of the shades. If you are a fan of taupe, and of gorgeous shimmer shades without fallout or shimmer, well then this Tom Ford quad is perfection. While this quad was on the pricey side (thank goodness it was a gift!), I can see how this will end up being one of my most used palettes of life, making it worth every single penny. I will be doing a full review with swatches on this palette very soon, for now just now that I am truly in love with this palette and that I do recommend it 100%.

Those were my November favorites and I can't wait to see what will be on the list for December!
