Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty has come and gone and today I am sharing my very minimal haul. I usually go a little nuts during this Ulta sale, I mean who doesn't, considering that most items go for 50% off. While this sale didn't completely knock my socks off, I still thought it was fairly decent. There was a pretty good selection and variety of brands on sale and while I would have loved to do a lot more damage, I stuck to my new shopping ethics and only purchased three items.

Lime Crime Venus III Palette - I own the original Venus palette (a xmas gift from my daughter) and have always wanted to get the second and now the third version, but they are pretty pricey for being so small. So of course I had been eyeing Venus III since it launched and hoped it would go one sale, and did it ever! Not only was this beauty of a palette on sale for only $19 during Ulta 21 Days of Beauty, I had points and scored it for only nine dollars and change. Cha-ching!

I will have an upcoming review on this palette but for now I can tell you that I love, love the color story. It's one of the prettiest palettes I have ever seen and I can't wait to share photos of the swatches plus my complete thoughts with you. For now just now that I am absolutely smitten with the Lime Crime Venus III Palette and I am super stoked to own it.

Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara: Having just passed on the only backup I had of this mascara to one of my girls, I def had to get at least one for myself. Lancôme Monsieur Big is one of my favorite mascaras, highly recommend trying it out if you are looking for super voluminous, long, sexy lashes.

In a perfect world this was an amazing opportunity to get at least 3-4 of these mascaras, to really stock up for me and my girls, but then I would be reverting to my old shopping habits. So I got one for me and I plan on picking up a handful of more affordable mascaras for my girls next time I have a 20% off coupon or catch a sale. None of them are really picky about having high-end mascaras and I have decided that for a time, they will be on the drugstore mascara train. There really are so many amazing mascaras at the drugstore right now that it's not even going to be a problem.

Buxom Plumpline Lip Liner in Incognito (warm nude) : I have been collecting a handful of these liners in the past months in hopes of getting a full post up here soon. I already have 5 but wanted one last shade to complete what I think is the perfect range, so I had to scoop it up at 50% off, this btw is the cheapest I have managed to score these liners. It really made me wish I had waited for this sale to get them all.

Now that I do have what I think is a great starter collection of these Buxom  lip liners, hopefully I can get the post up. Any. Day. Now.

Not from Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty Sale I also grabbed three other items during the same time. I thought I would throw them in here is as well.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Perversion: This was a Sephora Weekly Wow, which was a really good deal. I had some credit on the DOTE App and only paid $7.34 in the end which is amazing.

I was really enjoying the shade Zero, which UD had gifted me but I ended up passing it on to one of my girls who urgently needed a black liner. I usually have backups at-the-ready but this time the liner bank was completely empty. So I gave her my beloved Zero and ordered Perversion a few days later, which I have owned a few times before in travel sized versions.

This liner is amazing BTW, it is super black, matte and incredibly creamy!

Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil: HSN had a Masterpass deal that I had to take advantage of, it was something like Take $20 off a $40 purchase. I ended up picking up a Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil duo and paid only $10 per each, a better deal than the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty one. These were for my girls and have already been given to them and I did not try them myself so I have zero feedback on them. But I was excited to score such a great deal on a product I have heard is really good.

And that was my entire mini-haul from Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty + others. As you might know, I am on a path of change when it comes to buying makeup and I don't think this haul was out of hand at all. A few items were things that I needed new ones of, two were for my girls and the others were pretty inexpensive. I am not out to stop buying completely, I still want to take advantage of sales and deals, but more responsibly, and I think I did okay with this sale.

Did you partake in Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty? If so, I hope you will share what you purchased!
